Uterine cervical pathology is one of the most common gynecological disorders, and is diagnosed in 25‒45% of women.
Epithelial cervical dysplasia is one of the malignization stages and the cause of the invasive cancer in 40% of cases.
Cervical cancer is the second most frequently malignant tumors of the female genital organs that represent approximately 16% in the structure of malignant tumors in women.
Uterine cervical pathology long time doesn’t have clinical manifestations, although it progresses and in the worst case can lead to cervical cancer. That is why it is so important to make preventive visit to gynecologist every six months.
The Program “Screening for Uterine Cervical Pathology” porvides the examination and treatment of patients with uterine cervical pathology. This program includes the necessary diagnostic and therapeutic measures, and also check-up examinations in the course of year.

- Consultation by an obstetrician-gynecologist
- Pelvic ultrasound
- Examination of vaginal, urethral and cervical smear
- Examination for sexually-transmitted infections (STIs) by PCR-method: chlamydia, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, Gardnerella, Candida, cytomegalovirus, HSV, HPV type 16 and type 18, gonococcus, trichomonad
- Cytologic examination of the uterine neck and cervical canal
